How do I get rid of something that I have been collecting for years?
I am finding it very hard to let them go. If I could find someone that wanted them maybe I would be okay. By the way they are clowns of every shape and size and texture. I probably have 300 or more.

Sell them on Ebay. They will go to good homes.
I don't like clutter it stresses me out but found I have to stick to a few rules. If one thing comes into the house one thing goes out. If I don't need it, if it is damaged beyond repair, doesn't fit or I have used it within a few years to it out of here. If the memory is important I take a picture and keep the picture. Pick out a few favorite clowns and sell or donate the rest. It would be better to highlight and respect a few important pieces than to have too much of something. Man that can a hard to follow but be strong.
Try your local garage sale site or just ask around - friends, coworkers, etc. You might be pleasantly surprised
Thank for all the wonderful ideas. eBay is probably my best solution.
can you leave the house and have a friend come over and get rid of them LOL!
Hi Susan, have you tried to look up collectors online to see where the others are that collect clowns? You will likely find a few groups out there. I found one page on Facebook that you could contact, https://www.facebook.com/groups/1406866429342234/
Might consider ETSY their fees are much lower than Ebay
