Hello Georgia! Here are a few ideas! You also might be able to find used baby gates at rummage sales, local online sales, thrift stores. There are a few local stores in my area that sell just gently used baby items so you might have some in your area too.

You can find baby gates even at Walmart. You can also check out pet store sites, as anything that will work for dogs will work for little kids. I always got my gates at Walmart in the baby section, but there are nice metal ones with walkthroughs and locks to keep them closed that are really nice and sturdier than the wood pressure gates. We have two of the metal ones that have little lockable cat doors so that the cats have a couple of rooms to escape to if the dogs are bothering them.
