How do I never have to deal with mold in my shower ever again?
The mold keeps coming back no matter what we clean it with and the bathroom is well ventilated

Hello do you have an effective bathroom exhaust fan? That might help you mitigate the humidity that’s predisposing your shower to mold and mildew.
I am seconding to run your fan!
Clean with vinegar as it kills the mold spores. You might consider a dehumidifier for your bathroom.

There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! If the mold is in the corners or along the bottom between the tile and shower pan you might be able to remove all the caulk that has black on it, spray the space with mold killer and let it dry thoroughly. Then re caulk using Silicone caulk. That isn't that big of a job. Actually we just did it. If you are talking about mold between tiles other than in corners and along the bottom edge then you might be looking at redoing the tile because the water may have gotten behind the tile and molded the wall board.
Another thing you could try is to use a squeegee to wipe the water off the walls after each shower.
Mold grows “roots” in tiny tiny cracks we can’t see.
Serious mold killing chemicals are inhalation hazards and I suggest a pro-grade respirator and wearing full PPE.
If your fan is 70 CFM, that’s not enough for a large bathroom.
Do you squeegee every time you use the shower?
keep ventilation in the bathrrom .. open up your shower doors or curtain

I had found mold behind the old toilet I removed down by the base board, all over the dry wall. It was pretty bad but after finding out that Borax would keep it from returning, I decided to try it. It's about $5.00 for a box of it. Make sure you wear a mask if you also decide to try it. Also this link I'm attaching warns to never mix it with other products- just read the link it's pretty straight forward and it's been a couple of months since I used it and I haven't seen any new mold growth. You can also use an old towel or a window squeegee to wipe down the shower walls after each use (my hubby even got on board with that idea and wipes it every time)! I hope it helps your issue, good luck!
