How do I cleanup outside pillows?
I’ve had them for many years. But during pregnancy and depression they were out in the weather and got stained I know nothing will help the sun bleaching. But I have like mold black spots on them and other stains. I tried washing machine with some spray and i I clean but that didn’t do much. Any suggestions ??? Thankssingle momma on a limited budget

You can try put some lemon juice on them and leave them out in the sun. You may have to repeat the process but also scrub them with a stiff scrubbing brush.
Hi Dani - see if this site helps you with removing the mildew and mold. Also, you can dye your pillows to brighten up the colors and give them new life.

Try Vineger drench the whole pillowlet sit in the sun, when it’s good and hot. That will kill it. You might have the black still on it , but you can paint them, dye them, or recover them. Making pillow case style covers you’ll be able to remove them to wash and store them. You can use sheets, shower curtains or even extra large beach towels, and of course the versatile painters drop cloths.
