A lot of patience and hard work to remove. To install a new floor, it depends on the damage to the subfloor. You can install Durock flooring, level it with self leveling cement, then tile.
What is the sq footage/area of the tiled floor that you want to remove?
To expedite the process, renting a tile removing machine is the way to go.
However, they do require a certain degree of physical strength and stamina to control and operate. Also be aware, that Everything will be covered with a layer of thick dust during the process.
