How do I get glue off of a wood floor?

    Penni...Probably sanding down then refinishing.

    What kind of glue? Scrape of what you can with something plastic like a credit card. Then use Goo Gone, WD40, nail polish remover.

    Heat it up with a hairdryer to softner the glue, wipe up the bulk. You may need a solvent or you can use Wd40 to remove the residue.

    Hi Penni: You can try Goof Off or WD40. If you use nail polish remover, use the one with NO acetone. Anything you want to try, test it in an inconspicuous area first. If you have a scrap piece of flooring, try it out on that. Good luck
