You will still need to find out where the water was coming in and then seal that closed. Use a space heater to warm and dry the wet wall.
This sounds like more than just surface mold. You need to call in the pros. Vinegar kills mold spores, bleach does not.

Hello Marcy, just a quick little tidbit of knowledge, about bleach, it kills surface mold and mildew but does not penetrate the surface, I would suggest using vinegar over bleach just for that reason. But first you need to repair the cause of the leak or your work will all be for nothing. Hope this video helps you out,
