Hi there,
Here's a tutorial for making a queen bed that is called "Farmhouse" but another person made it for a coastal look. I'll put both links here so that you can see it. Wishing you the best.

Hi there. I purchased an inexpensive piece of picket fencing from Lowe's.Then I took it apart and rearranged the boards. I nailed them back on the original pieces that held them together, running across the back. Then I white washed the whole thing and propped it behind the head of my bed. It was righteous! Very pretty, hung a flowery vine across it, here and there catching the front. Really, it was lovely and very inexpensive. Also hung a straw hat on one end. (If I didn't live in an apartment, I'd nailed it to the wall for stability.)
This is a louvered bifold door. We removed the in between hinges; then cut each 28” section where the top and bottom are separated by about 2” of wood. You will then have two sections approx 32 and two sections approx 48. We attached 1x2 premium pine at the bottom and top to connect the sections. We used wood screws and pipe clamps to secure them.
when it was assembled, it slipped right into the Hollywood frame. Then we bolted the headboard to the corners with carriage bolts after slightly lifting it from the floor to prevent scratching. We intend to cover it maybe with a quilt.
