Windshield washer fluid for cars and old t-shirts for rags. Apply a coat of Rainex for cars to the outside when you are done cleaning. Helps keep from spotting when it rains.
Adding a little corn startch to hot vinegar and water mix is key.
A damp microfiber cloth should produce a streak free finish. Don’t do on a hot, sunny day. I prefer SuperCloth and use it for glass, screens, and appliances. It is similar to the cloth you receive with glasses/sunglasses. It was well worth the investment. They were under $40 for 4 of them about 5 years ago.
Water vinegar and sheets of newspaper. Wash window with a cloth using the vinegar water solution. Dry with the crumpled up news paper. When you first crumple the paper it won't work instantly, it needs to get a bit damp. Change paper when it get to wet or torn 100% recyclable.
A damp microfiber cloth is best, do not do not do not dry. Rinse cloth frequently. If extra dirty, you may need to add vinegar and a drop, just a drop, of dawn to your water. If it streaks, window is still dirty. The vinegar will cut the oil. Oily particles are in the air just about everywhere.
