You can use a mix of baking soda and water. Create a paste and cover the entire surface with the mixture. Let it sit for at least an hour or two. I like to let it sit overnight. Then clean out the mix and rinse well. Sometimes I also use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water if there are tougher spots. Wishing you the best.
I use vinegar and baking soda. Works like a charm. If you clean often, not hard to do.
