What can I use to kill grass & weeds in myrtle without killing it?
I have a healthy bed of myrtle, but struggle to keep it grass and weed free
Hello there. We use the Scott's 4 step program. My husband uses a walk-behind spreader to put it on the lawn. It feeds the grass and kills the weeds. You have to spread it 4 times a year to keep it looking good. He puts it only on the front yard, not on the back yard. We have two dogs and grand kids that use the back yard, and it would be more expensive because the back yard is much larger than the front. So I recommend the Scott's products. Good luck.
I use Spectracide Weed and Feed in the hose end sprayer. No mixing, no mess, no mistakes. Once in the spring and once in the summer. Kills the weeds and feeds the lawn. A thicker lawn leaves no room for weeds. I've tried different brands and this one works the best.
