How can I disguise or utilize the 5” space above my kitchen cabinets
Any suggestions to either utilise or disguise the 5 inch space between my kitchen cabinets and the dropped ceiling.....it is impossible to clean and distracts and spoils the look of the cabinets.

We have a vaulted ceiling in our family room/kitchen area and what we did when we had our kitchen redone last fall was had crown molding put onto the tops of the kitchen cabinets. Maybe you could do this in a color that matches your cabinets and then it'll make them look 'finished' and the space in-between the wall and cabinets won't look so open.
