We have a similar situation. We went with something like this (not this exact brand). It comes in a variety of colors so you should be able to find something that blends ok. But, what I thought about was, how often do you use this as a guest room? If you find you use it frequently, then yes, blinds would come in handy. But if it's a rare instance you need them, you might consider just getting a couple of dark sheets or thin blankets you can hang from the top of the door trim (just set a couple of nails on the top on each side and in the center, then hook the blankets on the nails. Now if this is for an air B&B set up, then no, lol! But if it's family or close friends that visit on the rare occasion, I"m sure they'd be happy just to have the privacy!

We used swing arm curtain rods on our French doors. They were exterior doors and the curtains kept light out when closed and let light in when open. These aren't the exact ones, I bought them years ago and I don't remember where I got them, but this will give you an idea what I mean. Just use heavier curtains.

How about a stick on film to just cover the inside glass so you can’t see through it

Make some Roman shades for use inside the office using a fabric that coordinates with the room. Hang them on the door but above the window using something decorative at the ends. Perhaps cool finials???
