Jerre...You will need to remove the toilet but the small and large tiles depend on you and what you want. We used large in a small bathroom and small in a large bathroom! My husband would much rather work with the large tiles!
Yes, agree that toilet needs to be removed. I prefer larger tiles in small spaces laid in a "brick" pattern with larger tile like 12 x 18.
