How should I do this project?
Hi Eddy, quite a few of our hometalkers have shared tutorials on how to make a bird bath. Perhaps one of these will inspire you - https://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=bird%20bath
A birdbath is made of 2 parts, the shallow dish and a pedestal high enough they feel safe to bathe. My mom has an old hub cap on a stump outside her dining room window, I have a terra cotta large base set on a tomato cage. Some people like cement dishes and pedestals. It all depends on how much you want to spend and the theme of your garden and yard. My yard is just functional, like my mom, but you can glue flat glass beads onto a cement or terra cotta shallow dish for color. The important thing is to have it close to a hose to spray clean it and fill it with water. Also, some people use solar water fountains that spray the water into the air a few inches. I may invest in one of those. Hope this helps. You can get pedastals at your local market and use whatever top you want for the shallow dish.
