How can I keep my vegetable plants from burning in the sun?
I hear we are going to have a hot summer this year. How can I keep my vegetable plants from burning in the Sun? Last year I didn't you get many veggies because it was so hot. I would like to try something different this year in any suggestions to protect the plants?Melinda

The dogs ate almost all my cherry tomatoes last year.
Where are you living? What kind of plants were burned? You can try growing tall sun loving plants such as sunflowers and okra near the ones that are getting burned on the south side of them to create some relief in the hot summer.
Build shade covers for them. I am in zone 9 in CA and It gets super hot during the summer and I have to choose placement carefully or all the vegetables will burn and be tasteless.
