We had this problem last year and we used large traps next to where they were coming in an out under our front porch. I think cantaloupe is the food of choice. ha. The only issue with that is you have to find someone willing to take them back to the woods and...that wasn't me. LOL. My hubby and son didn't mind doing that. Good luck that's awful I know!
Hi ! Go to the dollar store and pick up several pinwheels or garden spinners. Put the stick end into the ground about 5-7 inches , place these near the gopher holes or where you see them. When the wind blows and they spin , it cause a vibration that travels down the stick and into the ground . Gophers , moles, voles, and chipmunk don't like this and will move on . Good luck !
