What can I do with this window box?
I bought this great metal window box at a thrift store because I love its lines. I don’t want to use it as an outdoor window box, however. Any ideas for indoor use? Functional rather than just decorative. The window box is about 26” x 9” x 9”. I’m not a big fan of modern farmhouse, but I’m open to all suggestions. Thanks!

Fire wood
It is cute. What about using it mounted on the wall in the bathroom to hold soaps and bottles?
A picnic 🧺 for plastic utensils, paper plates, cups, tablecloths, s/p catsup/mustard bottles. Line with shredded coconut leaves or straw and use as a centerpiece base for flowers in all seasons. Store guest room towels and cloths, fresh pillowcases, an extra light bulb, sample toiletries and a first aid kit. Use on the porch or patio for smaller baskets with bug spray, sun cream, a first aid kit, grilling essentials, and tissues. Near the pets’ beds with sealed pet meds, leashes, toys, wet wipes, paper towels, and scoops and bag, stored higher than pets can get to. For a child’s room, paper towels, wet naps, baskets of toy cars, bows and hair clips, hand sanitizer, Febreeze, carpet spot cleaner (stored on a higher closet shelf or hooks. In a hospital or nursing home, possibly on a window sill, filled with items approved for that patient, such as puzzle books, sharpened pencils, colored pens, craft scissors with shaped edges, bottle of white glue, roll of tape, small spiral notebooks, a phone list and charger, maybe a battery operated radio and batteries, eyeglasses cleaner, hard candy or soft peppermint sticks or gum, but check first, and some family photos and thank you cards and envelopes. You can never have too many organizers. Best wishes!
Hang on the wall. Get some baskets or bins that fit. You could put various things in them. A small plant in one, mittens in another, or if in bathroom, combs and brushes. You could even paint it to match your decor. I really like it.
Storage container for rolls of wax paper, aluminum foil, parchment paper, etc.
You can turn it into a light fixture, spray paint it and use it as a storage basket. You could attach a piece of wood to the bottom with wheels to give it an industrial look or hang on the wall in the kitchen to hold fruit/veggies.
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I got some great ideas!
Turn it into a charging station for electronic devices.
