How do you remove carpet backing stuck to wood floor
We just pulled up carpet and the padding has many bits of it stuck to the wood floor. How can we safely remove it?

You could use a small sized finishing nail between the planks to strengthen the flooring to the base. There is a putty stick which comes in many shades to cover the nail if you have to.

Try baby powder! Sprinkle a little on the laminate floor where the squeak is and rub it into the crack. Honest, it works!
