Water once a week. Do not let it sit in water. They do not like strong sunlight.
good luck, i have two small ones that i keep at work. at home, they do not do well.
Ok, since you didn’t specify what type of orchid I’ll go with the common moth orchid or phaelenopsis orchid. Depending on where you live you may or may not water every week. Better to be dry then overwater! You can put a couple ice cubes weekly to prevent overwatering. Go online & see how to repot it because they like their roots to breathe & aren’t meant to be kept in those horrible plastic pots they ship them in. Good luck! Just remember less is more with watering an orchid.
