Hello. It is a great question. I try to use that extra strong command adhsieve hook properly weight rated and that was unsuccessful.
Perhaps because the siding does have a slight texture. I hope we get an answer - if there’s a solution without putting holes in the siding.
I found 'Z' shaped hooks at the dollar store years ago. They slide under the siding joints. Only problem with them is they will rust. I have not seen or looked for them in a while, though.
They actually make a hook for hanging decor on siding. It secures under the siding on one end and has the hook on the other. You can probably find it at Lowe's or Home Depot. Good luck!
I sent away for special siding hooks. They are stainless steel so won't rust. Price isn't bad.If you are an Amazon person, google that.
