How do I put up ship lap on ceiling?
I'm remodeling an old farm house. The ceiling is stripped down to one inch thick pine boards that cover the ceiling. Can I put up ship lap directly on these boards or do I need to put up drywall or furring strips first?

You can do the ship lap directly as long as you have sufficient boards to nail the ship lap to so you will need to carefully measure. This might require cutting the ship lap or adding strips.
