It depends upon if it is a slider or french doors.
A slider, just put the rod above the door attached to the wall.
French doors, attach a curtain panel to the top and bottom of each door.
This is an easy one. Just choose a curtain rod that will cover the area and put up your curtains!
What kind of door? If you have a slider, you can use either a traverse rod that moves the curtains away from the side that opens. Or just hang a rod that's strong enough to hold the curtain without a center support. If you have French doors, you can use swinging curtain rods. We used then and they work great. This is an example of the swing rods, I bought mine a long time ago and I don't remember where.

Ikea has a very affordable system. If you don't live near a store you can buy on-line. It is a track system similar to the dividing curtains used in hospitals. You can buy their flat panels, curtains, use your own fabric, or use a combination of panels and curtains. Our house has 4 sliding glass doors and I prefer drapes on a travis rod because they can be set up to open from one side to the other and during the winter months they help to cut down on the transference of cold.
