Plants in cute pots would work. (Go to Home Goods for cheaper pots.) Add a fun outdoor rug and some cute pillows.
Paint a canvas rug in black and white checks; should be able to find directions online. Add throw pillows with teal and other color. Add potted plants with flowers that pick up colors from pillows.
Do you have a photo? That could help stimulate ideas. :)
Plants and at least 3 beautiful pots. One pot being quite large, a focal point planted with a tall grass, along with other colorful plants and finally plants that will cascade/ trail over the rim of the pot. I stopped buying clay pots because they start to disintegrate in about 2 years. If you can afford it look for Talavera pots they really add color to our deck and they won't call apart on you. Good luck, hope it helps.
