Goof off with a plastic scraper so you don’t scrape it. Or a hair dryer on low to test a spot if it will come off. Yikes!

Citristrip should remove it. Just brush it on and cover with plastic wrap until it loosens up. Then wipe and clean any excess.

    Its always something, isn't it?

Here are some steps you can try to remove plastic that has been burned onto a patio heater:

    1. Let the heater cool completely before attempting to remove the plastic.
    2. Use a scraper or a putty knife to gently scrape off as much of the plastic as possible. Be careful not to scratch or damage the surface of the heater.
    3. If the plastic is difficult to remove, you can try using a solvent to soften it. Acetone or rubbing alcohol may work. Apply a small amount of the solvent to a cloth and gently rub it onto the plastic.
    4. If the plastic is still difficult to remove, you can try using a soft-bristled brush or a toothbrush to scrub it off.
    5. Once you have removed as much of the plastic as possible, wipe the surface of the heater with a clean cloth to remove any residue.
    6. If the plastic burn marks are still visible, you can try using a stainless steel cleaner or a fine abrasive pad to gently buff out the marks. Be sure to test the cleaner or pad on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not damage the surface of the heater.

    1. Fill a plastic bag with ice and hold the ice on the melted plastic until it's completely hardened and cold.
    2. Scrape the frozen plastic from the heater with a razor blade scraper.
