Hi Angie,
There really isn't one SIMPLE answer. An enzyme product or even baking powder would be good if the problem is odor. Hydrogen peroxide and sometime baking soda can bleach out the black. The problem is that it's not limited to the top of the wood. The wood is porous so the urine soaks into the wood and takes it odor with it. I'd first try the enzyme (get a good one at a pet store) then I'd try a baking soda paste to see if that will help lighten it. If the baking soda didn't do anything, then try the peroxide. The thing is that you don't want it too light or you might have to do it more than once. Sanding the floor is an option however you definitely want to do the enzyme before trying that due to the smell. I hope these ideas help you. Wishing you the best.

Try the enzyme first but then when dry, seal the whole area of odor. We painted a floor corner a cat had urinated on, but wanted to paint it anyway. Using polyurethane should seal it.
Use an enzyme cleaner. Nature's Miracle is a good brand. Then try peroxide to whiten it.
