I bought a gas gun and you just burn them when they start coming up, it only takes a little while and you do not have to wait for them to die, easy
I keep a spray bottle on hand with the mixture I use. It consists of 1 gallon of white vinegar, 1/2-1 cup of table salt (epsom salts also works) and a squirt of Dawn dish wash soap. Mix the ingredients together and use in a garden sprayer or if you don't have that just pour into a large spray bottle. Spray the weeds well (the soap helps the mixture stay on plants better) and wait to watch the weeds dry up and die. DO NOT spray any plants you want to thrive and grow as the mix will kill or damage them as well. Happy spraying!
