How do I change from steep steps to safe ones?
I have 20 steep steps to my house,I need something safer. Something if an ambulance comes can get up without carrying me in a chair.

What are your steps now? Concrete, wood? They might need to be demolished and start over or yo may be able to install a ramp.
Jeanette, Are you able to take a digital photo of the steps and terrain and post it here? If not, do you know someone who can take one for you? Your solution might be simple. However, without a photo it's impossible to tell.
My steps were steep, and my husband made them shorter by adding wood to the tops. You can do that to concrete by using concrete screws. Still have steps, but not as tall. If you can afford it redo to a ramp is better.
