Several way. Hang your feeder from fishing line high enough that they can't jump up and long enough piece they can't climb down it. Use a long shepherds hook they can't shimmy down, or put a barrier on the pole like a hubcap or lid that is large enough the squirrel can't reach around half way up the pole.
Have you tried a baffle? I feed the squirrels peanuts so they (mostly) stay out of the feeders. There are always those one or two that like to defy gravity . . .

Spray hot sauce on feeder-squirrels don’t like the taste & it doesn’t bother the birds - the hard part is finding a sprayer (cuz it’s thick)
