Bitter yuck I usually use it keep the pets from chewing the furniture, it tastes very bitter.
Hi Cheryl. I use shredded bars of Irish Spring Soap. We live next to woods and the DuPage River. So we see a lot of wildlife. I have tried a lot of methods to keep my vegetable garden from being a buffet for animals. The shredded soap works best for me. I buy a 12-pack of the soap in Spring and I shred all of them at one time. I store it in a 5-gallon bucket with lid, in my shed. Once I plant my garden, I immediately spread the soap. I have to spread more after heavy rains. I still see a few bites here and there, but nothing like it used to be.
I just mix
1cup of black coffee
1table spoon of dish soap
2quarts of water
and that works for me
good luck
