If you’ve tried all the usual ways try covering the glass with dryer sheets ( eg. Bounce) spray as much water as you can contain on the surface. Leave it to soak for a few hours. It should come off with gentle scrubbing. Good luck.

I use paper towels soaked in vinegar leave on surface to loosen everything then wipe with dawn dish soap and scrubber sponge,some tuffer stains wet surface then put comet on area/spots let sit the longer the better then gently scrub wipe surface
make a paste using water and baking soda and scrub it on using a non abrasive sponge/pad. They also sell glass top stove cleaners that you can use too.

I’m quite sure that Comet Cleanser is too abrasive to use on your glass stove top.
