How can I keep squirrels out of this birdfeeder?
Our birdfeeder isn't very tall, but we have put WD40 on the pole so the squirrels wouldn't climb it so now they just jump from the ground.

Feeding Birds by Keeping Squirrels Away
Thread a kids metal Slinky around the pole. Stops climbers!
Easy, easy, easy! Just spray with WD 40. They try to climb ans slip off. They can't get traction!
wd40 is poison to birds, ive used ghost peppers mixed in oil rats loved it, best is tall hook with slinky
use a two litre pop or other plastic bottle wrapped around pole cannot climb over slip on plastic secure so bottle will not slip on pole
I fill my feeders with safflower seeds. The squirrels don't like them, but the birds love them!
Put vaseline on the pole part of the shepherds hook. They slip right down.
