How do I clean dull vinyl siding?
I've had my vinyl siding power washed, but it is still dull, like oxidized or something. Is there a cleaner I can use?
I think the best tool for this job is an extending car wash brush. You can hook it up to your garden hose. It comes with a cup that holds soap so that you can use soapy water. When you're done scrubbing, rinse the siding with clean water.
There's a product called Wet and Forget. You mix it with water according to directions on the bottle, and put it in an ordinary garden pump sprayer (I got one at Home Depot for $8-$10). Then spray it on all the green mold, let it dry, and in a few days or so it's gone. If your siding is really green, you might have to repeat.
There's a website you can go to for information. Wet and Forget is widely available.
Cheapest I saw it was Costco.
We used dish soap, hot water, and a scrub brush.
Power wash, no need to scrub.
