Use urine out or nature's miracle sold at pet stores for spots. If everywhere you can try to shampoo the entire carpet with pet carpet cleaner. Unfortunately, once the pet has peed, it's in the pad and the carpet will forever be their litter box. May want to consider area rugs over wood look vinyl for next floor.

Hi ! First use an enzyme cleaner , this will actually get rid of the urine , this can be found at any pet supply store . Then I would clean the carpet . I found the best carpet cleaner , called Folex I got it at home depot for about $6. It is a spray that can also be used in a carpet cleaning machine . Good luck !!!

Hi Carol. I'm Cindy. To remove cat urine from carpet, make a solution with a quarter-cup of hydrogen peroxide, a half-cup of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of dish soap. Use a clean cloth to dip into this solution, then blot the urine. Don't rub. Rubbing the stain could push the urine further into your carpet and pad. Change the cloth when needed. Good luck Carol.
