Call any local carpet shop and schedule an appointment to have them come out and stretch it for you. Everything needs to be cleared from the space, so be prepared for a bit of work.
You could rent a knee kicker or carpet stretching machine and do it yourself but it is much easier and better in the long run to have someone who knows what they are doing attempt this. Call some carpet stores and get a quote.

Jane...You can call a professional and he can come and tighten it or possibly advice you as to how to do it with proper tools.
