Take shallow pan like a pie tin and fill it with beer set it in you garden or yard over night ! Put it where your having problems . The slugs will crawl in to it and die. Do this several times until your slug problem is gone .
Hi Carol. I'm Cindy. Used coffee grounds will kill slugs. You can also use egg shells. Break them up fine. Slugs find them too sharp. Good luck Carol.
Salt all over
Hi Carol,
Really any kind of salt will do the job. Put it on the soil and it will dissolve them as they crawl across it.
Not a whole lot, just sprinkle on a light layer. I love to use Epsom Salt because it is magnesium sulfate, a valuable nitrient for plants that are deficient in it. Be sure to not get it on your plants, put it on only the soil because it can burn your plants.
