They are my living room windows and are so bad you can't see out of them very good.
Use microfiber cloth dipped in plain water and wring out as much water as possible. Wipe window with it and dry well with another dry microfiber cloth.
From the Professionals:
Use distilled water for purity reasons. Distilled water is free from all contaminates and minerals and makes for a more refined or pure window cleaner. When it comes to product concentrates, as a rule use distilled water when mixing. This would be the equivalent of having soft water in your house and the fact that you can use much less soap and detergents when compared to hard water.
Anita....I find Windex and newspapers work well.
Straight Rubbing/Isopropyl alcohol and clean white wash cloth no fabric softener on it (leaves streaks smears) & no paper towels they are treated with chemicals to increase absorbtion leaves streaks & smears;pour alcohol on cloth & wipe glass. wipe inside one direction-vertically, the otherside -horizontally this way you can tell which side you have missed something. Paper towels are expensive and kill lots of trees to make. Rubbing alcohol evaporates asap and is basically what is in window cleaners minus chemicals and blueing agent & it is much cheaper.
Never clean it hot! Works also on house mirrors! If they are warm or sun or light has been shining on them they will streak every time.
