How to trim a fiddle fig plant?
My fiddle fig plant is a big bush and I’d like to trim it into the shape of a tree. Does anyone know how to? Do you just cut off the bottom leaves?

Hi, I would like to know how to kill the grass around the base of a tree without harming the tree itself. Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.
It will look more tree like if you take off some of the bottom leaves. Do a few at a time so as not to shock the plant too badly.
This might help! https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/ficus/fiddle-leaf-fig-pruning.htm
There was a time when people thought they could merely trim off lower branches/leaves of plants and bushes to "magically" make them become trees. You can do this but it most often makes the plant look wrong and stop growing correctly as well as no branching.
Here are specific instructions for pruning and forcing branching

looks really healthy why mess with it....yes you can just cut them off from bottom up use something really sharp keep any pets(if you have them)out of sap until wounds heal over. are you oiling the leaves they are awful shiny looking.......stop it - they need to be able to breathe and it actually collects more dust causing it to stick to leaves, if they get dusty just rinse them off in shower,or with wet clean washcloth(no fabric softener on it)
LEAVE IT ALONE-- That plant is gorgeous!-- The bottom leaves will turn brown and die/drop off NATURALLY when they are ready to! If you want TREE shapes-- get ficus or something else-- DO NOT TRIM your fiddle leaf fig-- it will NOT like it at all, and it will get "top" heavy and most likely a stem will break! I had one of these for over 20 years- it even branched branchd out on it's own, and miraculously it even produced little figgy things-- MOST surprising. Mine was stolen when i was moving-- and lost it -- a vary sad day when THAT happened!
