How do you get rid of bugs that are making raspberry leaves like lace?
My raspberries are looking like lace from some kind of bug eating the leaves between the veins. They leave the leaves looking like lace! What are they and how do I prevent it next year?

Grandma's solution Throw the old dish water over the plant. Soapy water sprayed or poured over the plant, no matter what kind, will kill any bugs on the plant. Roses, roadies etc. It gives the bugs diarrhea and they die and the plant just gets a nice shower. Make sure to get a good dose of soapy water around the base of the plant as some bugs live in the dirt around the plant and only come out at night. This is a safe and easy and cheap way to kills the little devils. You can also add a torn up cigarette to the mixture. That will make sure they are dead for the coming years.
That's the best answer I've ever heard of. I can just see my Grandma doing it too. Thanks, Nancy.
