What do I do if the new door hinges do not match the holes?
Just bought new hinges for my bedroom doors and NOW noticed that the new holes are off set, can I use a wooden golf tee to fill in the hole with glue and I guess predrill new holes, what a hassle nothing is simple!!

Hi, Sandy!
A situation like that is always frustrating! Yes, the holes can be filled with golf tees or even toothpicks, and new holes drilled for the hinges. I hope this helps - good luck with your project!
You can do exactly that, or even use tooth picks. Then fill the hole with wood putty and let harden.
I don't like to use tooth picks they are too small how about chop sticks then glue with gorilla glue.
