How often does he get let out or go for a walk? That might be the issue right there. Could also be a health issue?
Hi Cynthia, there's a product called Nature's Miracle that you can spray on the place where the dog is peeing. It breaks down the enzymes in the urine and they shouldn't "mark" there anymore.
If your dog is peeing in the house, this means you aren't watching him enough. I don't know if it's a puppy or older dog, but since life is busy and you can't watch him all the time, limit the areas in your house he is allowed to go. Crate training works well. Baby gates are another option. Take him outside more often. Be glad it's on linoleum and not rugs or carpet. My little bozos manage to only use my area rug. I'm just glad it's not often or a habit.
Crate him- retrain him- use vinegar on accidents
Take you dog for a walk several times a day, great exercise. If you cant do that, then maybe hire someone who can or find another person who has a dog or dogs and swap walking them.
For the cleanup, use Nature's Miracle at pet stores. Follow the container directions.
