How to attach things in apt. without damaging surfaces & ceiling?
Ceiling hangings, i.e. plants, lights are not permitted in my apartment if drilling holes is necessary. Any ideas how to accomplish safely, without drilling holes.Also would appreciate ANY & ALL ideas for space saving & organization in small apartment living. THANK YOU.

Think Command hooks! They are designed to hold different weights and they also come in different sizes. I can visualize a very large one attached to the ceiling with the hook parallel to it. Hang your cord from the hook. If the hook is large enough and it can support the weight, it will hold the cord and the hanging plant. There are other gadgets that can be purchased that can adhere to the walls and be safely removed. Shelves are an idea too.
I second Command Hooks! They have varying strengths and can old a lot. :)
Oh for Pete' sake! I use Command hooks for a variety of things. I'm not very tall so sometimes things like this are difficult to accomplish. Can't believe I had tunnel vision when it comes to the ceiling though! THANK YOU ONE & ALL!
