How do I find a leak in my pondless backyard water feature?
We have a pondless water feature that loses water in about 2 days with the pump running. The pump itself is not leaking because if we turn it off the water stays at the bottom with no leakage.
What are some good tips in finding the leak? It seems so overwhelming to remove all of the rocks and start from scratch?

You may be losing water from overspray. Does the wind grab the stream? Otherwise you may need to teplace the clamps on the hose to the waterfall.
Hi Becky. If it only leaks when pumping it might be a hose, or a fitting that connects the hose to the pump. Good Luck!
You could try some soap and see if you see bubbles anywere coming from rocks spray all over
We have to add water about every 2 days too. Water evaporation and splashing does it in these, small water features.
