Hi Angelo, I would be very careful about doing this because of safety if it is small child who will be using the bib. I would think it would be more safe to use a more dense plastic such as a flannel backed tablecloth or multiple layers of plastic that has been fused together with a hot iron. You can simply use an old bib to create a pattern for new ones. You can create a bib, then use bias tape applied to the edge and extended to use to tie into a bow at the back of the neck, or apply snaps or Velcro for a closure.
why not just buy a pack of kitchen dishcloths and tuck into the chin. You can get 12 for a few dollars at many stores. Throw them in the washer or rinse in dishwater and hang to dry for next meal.
NO to cling wrap around a young child! Dangerous.
