We use garlic to keep cats and other animals out of our flower beds/garden. You can use a spray or put pieces of garlic around the area

Hi Dee,
If they are not ferrall, go and talk to the owners and explain your problem. If they are feral, a motion activated sensor that sprays them with water is your best option, available at Lowes and Home Depot. Kitties do not like to get wet.
