I'm unsure what you are asking. Anytime I wash something with a string like an apron or jogging pants, I put a safety pin in each end of the string so that if it gets pulled during the wash it won't come out.
Use a washing bag
you can get mesh bags to put the aprons in, or use a clean white pillow case to put them in prior to washing tie a string around the neck of the pillow case.
A mesh washing bag should help you out.
Tuck the ties into a thin sock, and pin it closed onto the rest of the apron.
