How can I build a large bird bath?
I get a lot of birds in my back yard. For now I am using a large cake pan as a bird bath. I ordered an expensive bird bath on line and it turned out to be just barely large enough for a humming bird. I wish someone could give me some idea how I can make a rather large one--big enough for 15 or more birds drinking and taking baths at the same time. Not one on the ground as I try to get the cats out of reach. I have a large tubular base and all I need is the large bath irself.

Tony...You can use a metal candle holder & attach the bottom of a flower pot (the part under the pot) to it using a good exterior glue or screw. Make sure u seal good with calking to keep water in. Good luck
Some people use a satellite dish as the bowl of bird baths. Once service is cancelled they just stay attached to the structure. Provider doesn't take them or want them. If you know someone who has one. I have even seen some for sale at garage sales.
