I just kept mine in a box with all the notes they wrote and even some pictures.
One good way is to buy plastic sleeves that are meant to hold looseleaf paper. You can then slip the artwork into these sleeves and store it in a binder.

If you get too much and it starts to take over your life, take photos of the artwork and put in albums. There is just so much you can save. Pick your absolute favorites and save them but take photos of the rest to preserve the memory.
You could get a binder with plastic sleeves and save the artwork that way
