There are several solutions sold at home depot. Depends what you are cleaning.
Plain old white vinegar.
Hi, Catherine!
I have to clean the mildew off of my siding yearly. From experience, a pressure washer alone doesn't work for me... I spray the siding with plain water, then use a sprayer (like the type for weed killer) filled with a mixture of bleach and water to spray on the mildew. I then use a brush to loosen the mildew and finish with the pressure washer to remove everything. It's a lot of elbow grease but it works really well! I hope this helps!
Depends on what you are washing.
I like Krud Kutter because it takes care of all kinds of issues.
Be aware of any plants you have near the footing of the house and the interactions with solutions.
Vinegar is good for killing mildew & spores.
For future prevention, you might want to consider wet & forget outdoor.
We used this one with Oxiclean- that was labeled landscape friendly.
