How can I clean off baked on grease stains from pots and pans?
I have a nice set of anodized pots and pans which have baked on grease stains on the sides and outside of the bottom. How can I get them scrubbed off so my pans look better?

Try Bar Keepers Friend . You can find it by the Commet or Ajax at your local grocery store

Yes, oven.cleaner.
Hi Jan,
If you want a chemical free way to clean your pans, try baking soda. I've used it to clean baked on messes inside my oven. I made a paste with baking soda and water then applied it all over the surface. I let mine sit overnight and I'd suggest you do the same. Then in the morning use a damp sponge to clean it off. The baked on grease should be soft enough to come right off with just dishwashing soap & water. Repeat if necessary.
Here are some other ideas for cleaning stubborn spots on pots. My mother told me many years ago about simmering dishwashing soap in pots with stubborn stains. I personally wouldn't use chemical oven cleaner on pots but that's just me. ;) Wishing you the best.
